I have a 2015 ED and I have deleted the exhaust and have an S&B cold air intake and a 3 stage HD Performance tuner. I’m trying to find the best choices for egr delete and throttle response issues.

So what did the 3 stage HD performance tuner claim it would do when you bought it ? Is it from HD diesel supply ?

Yea it is. They said stage three is 60hp and 120lbs feet of torque, which there are times when it does over that from the stock specs. What I don’t like is it seems to be hit and miss when it wants to work, Almost like it fights with the computer.

So it decommissioned your DEF system but did not do anything to tour eqr System?

It’s a plug in tuner to your map and fuel pressure regulator at the end of the fuel rail closest to the fire wall.

No, the truck had already had the def delete when I bought it but it had the factory tune still in it. It says it will work with the truck with all the emissions crap.

Yeah, that’s about all I did to it other than the suspension. It had a 3” with bilstein shocks that were broke. So I replaced everything and put a 3” rough country with leveling kit.

I would shit can the HD thing, kind of like showing/promising you tits and ass but not saying how long you can look at them lol, and get an SFT stg 2 Engine and tranny toon. It will do what your looking for with eqr and extend the life of your motor plus address throttle-turbo lag
