New Banks iDash Super Gauge

I have to say, this is a nice product an a little more compact than something like an Edge. However, I haven't confirmed yet if it will command a regen or if you can customize the PID's it will display.

DPF %, etc, would be nice.

You can change the pids it displays but only to programed ones and I dont think it well force a regen. But that really has no benefit to me since its not the same as a forced regen. My bank idash 5.0 moniters exhaust manifold pressure which the edge units do not, that is a important piece of info to me. If I didn’t already have my 5.0 I would buy this product.

OBD II is a generic protocol so it should work on all (1996 and newer?) vehicles, but.... the "fit" part means they haven't programmed all the PIDS for the EcoDiesel specifically.

I wonder if we could generate enough interest to have them to do that?

It could be, I believe it will work on out engine if you have the derringer tuner though.

Its a pressure Box, with programed viewing/setting , Its similar to the Banks Bullet. I've had My bullet set on Sport for 2.75 Years. Active Regen Nice but the solution to cleaning the SCR is Stationary Desoot (WITECH) .

If you're talking about the product in this post, it's just a Gauge. No tuning from this device.

The banks idah 1.8 is just a gauge and does not require using the derringer tuner with it.

The IQ and AKA known as Idash, The Idash 1.8 (Round) is just gauges (Got it) and couple with the Derringer Tuner AKA Pressure box, Banks also made/makes the Six Gun tuner ,later changed some parameter and it was green call it economind Tuner. The Automind is Handheld downloader with limited Adjustments..
This all started with the PowerPDA/Six-Gun tuner Tungsten E2 device ,lots of Problems for some with the E2 the IQ was very welcomed By many. IMO Banks fit and finish is Awesome, Just really need to read exactly the application, many owners 2003-05 Ram Owners Purchased the IQ just to learn W/O the Six-Gun Tuner NO rail Pressure Gauge.

I called Banks about this unit before I installed the SCangauge on both our 2017 Ecos, they said they "have nothing that will work on the 2017, IDash1.8 alone ..nor coupled with a Deringer, no joy",... for you earlier years, before the 2017 ECM lobotomy ....I'm sure there are some working units.

I am looking for the same thing. So far, no luck. EDGE2 does not.

I went with the Edge Insight CST2 last week. It force regens and has soot and EGR gadges.

Only thing is it seems to crash when trying to clear DTCs. Maybe because it's a Jeep instead of a Dodge Ram? Idk yet.

Other than that I like it.

Didn't realize just how often my jeep regens. Went on a long road trip for Thanksgiving. Every 300-500 miles it regened after reaching 65% spot level.

Another thing is the spot doesn't burn off, lower, or fluctuate levels during natural hwy driving, it only rises.

SO bizarre, Spoke with the Tech today and she said they do no sell CTS' with regen feature. Glad it works for you. Wish I could find one for ecodiesel.

Works with my 2014 Jeep 3.0 ecodiesel. Same engine and tranny as the Ram eco.

From my research many DONT support 2017 & 2018 after a new ECM was changed.
