Morning my name is Joe. I live in Ormond Beach Fl and have just purchased a new RAM 1500 Laramie Longhorn edition crew cab with the 3.0 liter V6 EcoDiesel engine. Thought this might a good site for information on this equipment.

Can you tell from Vin # your rear axle ratio, window sticker is a bit confusing as to rather I have a 3.55 or 3.92

Go here: http://www.dodge.com/webselfservice/dodge/index.html

Click the link on the left corner called "Equipment Listing", then input your VIN #. That should show what ratio you have.

Welcome. My truck is a 3.92 and I remember the spec sheet showed both. Dealer said it shows both because I have the package that has the 3.55 which then allowed me to have the package that has the 3.92. Hope that helps.
