New to the group. I’ve had my ecodiesel 1500 for about 4 years now. No performance mods except an air filter which is basically nothing. 8 inch lift. I’m looking for anyone who has had a deleted 3.0 for a significant amount of time. I’m interested in a tune and delete but I also want my truck to live as long as possible. I appreciate any help, info or advice

Shed weight at ~80-90k, have like 208 now. Have had the tone wheel which is unrelated, and had to replace a Turbo for failed vgt. Couple glow plugs, change oil with T6 at the ~9500 intervals. It's an old gde tune no longer available but I wouldn't expect any issues from the Canadian companies remaining.

The only legitimate option is MRT tunes and equipment from EOC

The day I purchased my new 2017 back in 2017, I had the "EGR" deleted and the truck has run great since. 3 months ago after saving my money I purchased thru Desieldudes.com my stage 2 delete from the turbo back as well as a tuner. Here are my impressions, after delete and tune " I kept the choices to stock" there are several selections to choose from. It's a completely different truck! honest to god. I gained a boat load of low end power very snappy zero lag. As far as smell very little change that I smell. No smoke at all and with the few 400 mile drives I've done from NE Wisconsin to Ohare airport "no towing" I've gone from 27.6 to 31 miles per gallon. I couldn't be happier and the truck couldn't be happier! the engine is free to be as it was meant to be. The sound of the truck is very cool with a clear diesel rumble. I can clearly hear the turbo. Best move I made, pricy yes but worth it.
