Just picked up a 2016 Laramie Crew Cab 5'7 bed, Charcoal color Ecodiesel with 67K miles.
I'm in the East San Diego, California area.

Added a headache rack so far for Home Depot runs and desert trips.

In process of switching out my center console for a 40/20/40 front bench. I ordered a center seat plus the dash and other parts I think I need from flea bay.

Also impulsively ordered the H&S compound turbo kit from Diesel Performance Products, plus a full delete kit, and exhaust from flea Bay.

Everything except the tune is shipped and on its way. Only thing I'm having trouble with is getting a tuned ECU shipped to California (San Diego). Looking for a way around the no shipping to California rule. (weirdly enough, literally everything else is shipped and on its way). I may have to have an ECU sent to a cousin in AZ and forwarded here.

Still browsing this forum and a couple of others to determine if I need to also buy the Banks intake and/or what other parts I might need to do this right.

Weirdly enough, all of the videos of the compound kits don't have much follow ups or updates. I'd think there would be more of a following. (kinda makes me wonder if I made a bad call ordering the kit, but what's done is done... Now to get everything and start the build)

This is my first major build and I'm excited to see what this engine will do. I also plan to lift it, but that has to wait. Still undecided on a 4 inch or 6 inch kit with 35's.

Welcome! Quite an extensive list you have there.. I think your truck is likely one of the most mod heaviest trucks here. Make sure to keep us up to date on the progress, and for sure some videos!

Mods are all arriving over the next few days.. Planning to do engine mods in about 2 weeks, IF I can get the ECU tuning issue figured out.

Going to move my registration to a smog free, California county... So it shouldn't be an issue.

So I did the console to jump seat swap... Total pain in the butt...

Thought I had all the pieces... But I can't find a missing duct piece online. Could use some help here...
This specific part is from an older ram and is discontinued. Weirdly enough, it's the same piece I need to finish the conversion. With the floor duct, I have about a 2 inch gap between the duct piece and the piece that goes under the seat. This seems to be the missing piece, per another forum.

Before and after.
It was fun and frustrating, trying to figure out which parts had to be unscrewed.

I had to take the console apart, in order to remove the harness and rear seat heater switches and power outlet. Custom modified the rear AC vent panel to hold the seat heater switches and power outlet.
Also took out the sd/aux ports and relocated then to the new jump seat storage.

6" Superlift Kit installed (by me, my neigbor, and my dad)
Pro's
- Love the lift
- Truck rides as good or better than stock
- Saved about $2,500 on install costs, quoted by 4 Wheel Parts (It was $3,000 but I had to buy some specialty ratchets and sockets to remove some things)

Con's
- Instructions are garbage.
  1. They do not list the tools you need (like the Pro Comp, Skyjacker, RCX lifts all do)
  2. They have horrible photos (black and white) of some of the parts to remove/install
  3. Things like "loosen the upper bolts and remove the front diff"... No photos of how to remove the bolt, connected to the engine mount, in an extremely difficult location. (You need an 18" swivel, ratcheting wrench, otherwise, be prepared for a 6 hour ordeal like I had, and still having to order one on Amazon, as no local car parts/home depot do not stock 18" ones near me.
- Rear shock tower bolt nuts have the frame rails in the way. Had to buy a thin 24mm socket to remove. (Nightmare #2)
- Install says 8 hrs by skilled mechanic. Took us about 40 hours.
