2015 Ram ED. It was deleted when I purchased it and I have had it for about 4 months. So far I have been super happy, looking for options/solutions for high oil temp when towing my 28ft camper. We are in Montana, so some of the hills can be a challenge. I look forward to reading through the threads.

Welcome! How much does the camper weight? If you're at the max capacity of the EcoDiesel, it might be time to upgrade to a 2500.

Two things. I’m sure an aftermarket oil cooler will help. And I think the biggest thing to help keep the oil cool is really just going slow up big grades. Do not try to maintain 65 mph, you might need to maintain 45 mph or even slower. This little engine will be working at its limits so you can’t treat it like the Cummins.

We are not over max with the weight, the trailer is 4213lbs dry. We didn't carry water on the last two trips. Slowing down going up the grade did keep the temp in check, but it would still hit 250-255. We would maintain 235-240 on the flatland.
