New owner

Hello everyone , just purchased a 19 Ram , 8700 miles . Mint truck , love it to death already . Not new to diesels but am new to the ecodiesel platform . Any suggestions to keep this truck running top level would be appreciated . Last truck I owned didn’t want to start when cold - always had a block heater plugged in . The Ram starts right up , see it has a block heater installed already but mine didn’t come with the cord - looking into installing cord , is plugging this in during cold weather beneficial for these trucks ?? Like I said starts right up - takes a while to get to temp but I usually let it warm up for about 10 minutes b4 I get in it . Any fuel additives suggested ? Used diesel 911 in my old truck , that was years ago so wasn’t sure if it’s still a good idea to use any fuel additives in the newer diesels . Any suggestions appreciated

Buy a cord online and install it. You'll thank yourself when weather gets real cold. No fun installing it in freezing Temps.
I live in texas and last year during g snowmaggedon I had to plug my eco in. Made life easy.

I plug mine in when temps below 30 at night. Got 162k on my 2014 and sometimes in the morning it won’t remote start. I run hot shot edt and truck seems to be happier on it

I have a 2014 with 330,000kms on it and have never plugged it in even this past Dec when we had 3 weeks of -25C and colder weather. It started every time. I would let the coolant temp get to above 0C before driving, usually 3-5 mins. I used to plug in my Cummins on a timer for only 1.5hrs. Don't need it all night.
