Hello everyone. I'm Bill C and I'm new to posting here, but have been looking at discussions and problem resolutions for quite some time. I have a 2014 Jeep GC with ecodiesel engine.

The cel has been on with p1289 dtc code. I have been working to resolve it. It seems to be common knowledge that p1289 is an issue with cylinder head temp sensor. Either low coolant level, circuit issue or sensor issue. Whole at the dealership for something unrelated, they read the code and said it was a NOX sensor. I don't believe this is correct, but I wanted to get some feedback from people more knowledgeable than myself. Could it be the tech just misread the code. I believe NOX is p1288. Thanks in advance for your comments.
