No Start issue

Good Morning, Glad to be part of the group. Had a weird issue, truck was running just fine and died. Cranks but no start. when I connected my scanner I had a bunch of communication codes ( U ) . we do have the recall for the Crank sensor but before I tow it over is there a way to check the crank sensor? we were also getting water in the cab from the exhauster vent. not sure if this is part of it. I removed all the seats and found no corroded wiring. any direction would be greatly appreciated.
