Now 1 month old and this

So had my first forced regen this month as well as learned I cannot pull my old trailer with tailgate down like I could my old gmc.....

Did the turn get it or is the jack just to close and the tailgate sit down on top of it?

Same thing happen to my father-in-laws truck.. But, he just sit his down and it got it.

No it was a turn...and the spare tire is what pinched it...

Ouch! The body shop actually fixed his without ordering a new tailgate so maybe you can get that lucky..

Got a quote he said no way to fix because it's on that crease...1500 for a shell and paint...they will swap over my internals...oh well 500 deductible I guess shit happens

Yep. One of many good reasons to have insurance..

This one didn't bother me a ton it is what it is.... now when my gmc was only 3 months old and i ran my quad through the back of the cab I cried from that one....
