Verify part numbers before ordering, someone bought a filter from them and didnt verify the part number even though it said for 3.0l and it was for a jeep grand cherokee, now he is having hard time returning it

The oil filter and housing is interchangeable.

The air and fuel filter IS vehicle specific.

Here is some interesting read on Mopar Oil filter verses other brands in General. I was interested, in what type of bypass when cold and if it had a separate outlet and didn't wash dirt from the filter. It is an Ad, so take it there...

Something must have happened between the time you posted this and now. I clicked on each link and get the 404 error, so I went to the site directly and selected the 3.0L tab and get this "This category doesn't have anything in it, but check back soon".

Looks like they removed them for some reason? Weird.

They still have it but I need to get new links for the Filters. It takes some digging on their site but they do have everything! And at good prices.

There's a way to search for Dodge/ram and you'll get about 20 results for the Dodge trio. Pro master, Grand Cherokee and the ram Truck.

I'll try to get new links later this week

@BoostN can you bump up this updated filter link and delete the old one?

IDParts also stocks OE Mopar and OE supplier filters.

The oil filter we stock from MANN-FILTER is contracted through the same company who makes the OEM filter. It is completely identical to the Mopar boxed one and is $5 cheaper.

I am working on importing the OE equivalents for air & fuel as well.

I used a Wix for my second Oil change which I purchased at Auto zone for $35.00. Still pricy, but with the Rotella synthetic on sale for $20.00/gal and then a $5.00/gal rebate on top of that, I managed to put together a $75.00 oil change. I have looked at a lot of filters online, but am worried about quality, especially the ones that you can get real cheap. I'd hate for one of those to shred and have a mess, especially with a fuel filter. I hit 10k today and was on the road and decided to change my air filter, as I live on a farm and get quite a bit of dust in my operating environment. All they had at autozone was STPs. They had the normal one and the performance one for $2.00 more - so I bought and installed it. The stock one didn't look dirty, but must have been a bit because I noticed a performance difference. Also, should I worry about the STP filter, it is only half as thick as the mopar filter?

The updated links at the top don't work.
I’ve used the STP oil filter and had no problem. For the price of that oil filter I buy 2 of them and change the filter halfway through. Dealer wanted $69 for a filter and the STP at Autozone wanted $17. Do the math.

Mopar oil filters from the dealer what are you paying for them!
I had to buy one in AZ at the dealer in the spring and got hosed!
I told the parts guy that he must be pulling my chain but I had to pay over $ 85.00 US what a rip-off. It was the only dealer in the area open on Saturday morning.
Just picked one up from my dealer in Alberta for the equivalent of $ 27.90 USA, same part number. WTF

2019 Updates on our end!

HENGST (OE supplier to VW, BMW, Mercedes) is making ED filters in EUROPE and they retail for $13.95. I like these more than the OE ones actually. OE is made in China, most other aftermarkets are made in Korea. Hengst unit material seems very high quality.

UFI Filters (the MOPAR supplier) have dropped in price now just $19.95.
