Oil change question.

Hello everyone.
I had a weird situation pop up the other day and I'm looking for some insight or advise. I had my oil changed on my 2015 eco diesel at the local ram dealer where I live, where I always get it changed(which sucks because it's over $200 everytime)about 1,475 miles ago. The other day I was driving when my truck dinged at me and the "its time to change your oil" notification came up. Knowing I had just recently had it changed, I was confused as to why it was now showing it was at zero percent but it only showed 1,399 miles since last oil change. Anyone else ever come across this issue? I ended up resetting the oil life for now.

the service guy may have neglected to reset your truck after the oil change. that's what starts the timer at zero
I actually always make sure to reset it as soon as i get in the truck after they are done because they usually don't reset it. So I know it was reset but can't think of why it would go down so quickly
