Oil fill cap

Just bought a 2019 Ram trades eco diesel. I have put 400 miles on it and averaged 28.1 mpg. This morning I went to check oil and other fluids and noticed that the oil filler cap was missing. Does this happen frequently?

Hmm, I've never heard of it just coming off, someone probably didn't get it on right, it takes about a quarter turn to secure it properly.
