Good information. When should the transmission fluid be changed?

I wouldn't take my word for it. But I remember reading somewhere 40k is the first change. Unlike transmissions of the past ZF basically mandates regular fluid changes from what I understand.

I intend on following the recommended Maitnence to the T. I'll have the dealer do everything except oil changes until my warranty is up. Then I'll do it myself.

Also. Just for informative reasons. Ecodiesel owners have the ZF 8HP70. Max torque 700+
