Hey boys,
Frustrated as all hell. Countdown came on p204-f code, 2018 with 50k....replaced the def pump..went away for 200 miles. Came back on with no countdown. Replaced the injector and the reductant line from the tank to the injector and yes I replaced the injector too. It took the no restart away for 10 seconds of driving time then boom. Wtf is the deal? Should I get a new ecu? Theres gotta be a diff problem with this truck. I love the truck but I can't delete it so I have to deal with the def bullshit

here is an article I found. Also saw on line where the scr clamp will break and cause the harness to the aftertreatment to melt. I don’t know how common of an issue this is though.

Yeah been there done that..as for your def codes...my tank ,pump with a new up date heater element ,new wire harness, up date flashing ,line, that was all done by the dealer. N.C. 6 months later lights on.....I drop the def injector it was clogged ..cleaned it up with hot water . And the hole it went into...light out 4 months .clogged agian ..cleaned it agian , hot weather come no problem s

Good news. I'm happy to report that my truck is back and in good operating condition. The DEF pump and DEF injector were replaced under the AEM warranty.
