I just had my engine light come on and the code is P249c and it also has p24C7 and p242b ,... I just bought this truck used from dealer it has 90409 km

See if your Selling Dealer is willing to repair. Was it sold "as is" Or has warranty.

Another MN Law , Buyer at request receives parts replaced or if replace by warranty , you will have an opportunity to examine them for up to five business days after the repair.

I have yet to go to the dealer ! I was going it was something I could take care of myself but I’m not sure how to fix the problem! I use the BlueDriver OBD code reader and it usually gives you a fix for the code but In this case it’s not giving me one!

All those codes could be related something as simple as poor connection(s) or costly parts like SCR+, It will take someone that has the correct diagnostic knowledge and skill IN addition know how to use the data.

Thanks TC Diesel!! ....also how often does the DEF fluid need to be added ?? I filled it up over a month ago roughly 3000 km ago and the gage has barley moved !! Is that normal?

Yes, It will consume 1 Gallon Per 500-600+ Miles Driving, Some drop all at once , so if you Drove 3000 KM my guess you can add 2 Gallons, I would wait until it move to 3/4 and add 2.5 Gallons, Watch out....Don't go months without adding, Some drive 4/5K Miles than the gauge drops to empty than BAM limp mote. The Alfa can re-set the gauge, I used it all the time to re-set, It works backwards also some fill it and it don't move re-setting eliminates that risk.

did you get resolution to your fault codes. I have a engine lite with the same codes same year truck
