Plasti Dip?

Anyone used this? If your not familiar with it your basically using it as a alternative to paint. It started being used on wheels, but others are doing their entire car. I'm not sure I could do my entire truck..but.. I guess it's an option.

From the videos it looks like great stuff! I thought about color matching my front bumper with it. So, if I don't like it I can just peel it off.

I've used it on my new Ecodiesel Laramie Limited. My truck is white and so the chrome was just too much. I purchased new wheels and the center caps were chrome, so I painted them black to match the rest of the wheel. It's tricky and tempromental! But if done with patience and correctly the finished product looks amazing. I've since moved on and done the wind deflector/shield (what ever it's called). One can yields a good amount. If I don't replace the grill it'll be next. If doing the entire truck two things to keep in mind...1. Correct, it's not permanent and it can easily be peeled off. 2. That in mind, I wouldn't recommend mudding or washing at high pressure. It wouldn't take but a small hole to become a large one. It's acts like skin after a sunburn. The hole starts small and then spreads and peels quickly.

My grille is beat to death, every square millimeter is pitted like its been sand blasted, the 4 center inserts are mint, but the outside is destroyed. Ive been thinking about plastidipping the outside and keep the centers chrome, but what I think is cool about plastidip is if done when your parts are new, nothing will get damaged from the sun or elements, and a couple years down the road, just peel it off and now you have a completely new look.
Im thinking about red, and add pearl and clear.

I would like the plasti dip spray gun, it seems it would give you a better overall coating than the spray cans.
