Power train Warranty

As I posted earlier, at 39,000 miles my 2017 RAM needs a new EGR cooler. Dealer says not covered, but wouldn't this be part of the power train, which extends to 80,000?

Per this thread, it should be covered to 8yr/80K miles.

Just an update. I called FCA and they said that the ERG cooler was listed as an item covered under a 36K warranty only. NOT covered under the 8 tear 80K warranty. The dealer/FCA were nice enough to charge me MUCH less than the stated $2700 regular price though.

EGR is considered emissions, but not covered under the emissions warranty is mind blowing.
