I have to drive around town stop and go quite a bit. I know it should be out on the autobahn more to do a regen. Does it help if I drop a couple gears in town occasionally to keep the RPM up to Autobahn levels for the filter to clean out?

NO........ You still will be creating Soot, if you cannot drive HWY 15% at 8 Miles plus problems will develop, In other words 24 miles city Stop and go require 8+ miles Hwy Speeds. or your Bank Account will be taking big withdraws in long term Ownership.

Okay, so about 15% of my monthly miles should be hwy? That's easy.
