Regeneration

A message just came up that my exhaust filter is 100% full, to see dealer for service. Is it not still possible for it to do the regeneration at this point if I get up to highway speeds?

You had No warning at 70%, the message clearly tells you to drive at Hwy speed until message no longer displays.
When it reaches 100% it will require WITECH to remove, Alfa will give you the options to stationary de-soot, its the only process other than Hwy driving. alfa will not remove or allow de-sooting at 100%

I didn’t get a message at all. Maybe because the ETC message was up. But no warning before the 100% full.

I had this happen last winter when Owner called and stated it was so cold on Red lake (Fishing) they left the truck run all night, the next day jumped in and put it in gear and BAME 100% Full. had it towed home and limp it to here and I did the go around and all is fine last I heard.

Needs a new turbo, along with a few other things that have been recalled. Luckily it still has a warranty!

How does one know when a regeneration is taking place. I have a 2015 with 60,000 miles and don't remember anything indicating a regen.
