I had wondered if the air suspension was better for heavier towing. The 16 I bought for my wife had factory air ride but just deleted it. Bless her heart, she drove it a few times this winter with froze deflated suspension. Wasn't a comfy ride either when it did work. Found out both rear bags were shot
Dang, that's kind-of a shame - I rode on a bottomed out bag one time and I thought my spine was going to pop out the top of my skull, but before I gave up on it, I asked a few questions around here, and found the "aftermarket does provide" in this case. I was 100% ready to do the delete since the kits out there include 3-6 inches of lift, but I felt kinda bad losing all the controls in the dash - it came with it, maybe I'll let it ride a while until it pisses me off. I was able to score a new pair of them for a little over a hundred bucks and very quickly realized how easy the job of replacing them was. I even did a video on it if you ever find another one pre-delete. I did the one in this video and it took a little while since it was my first time, plus stopping to film it, but when I did the other side about two weeks later out of precaution, it was literally a half-beer job :ROFLMAO:
