I have been following this board since I purchased my truck new in 2016, Laramie, 59000 miles . I noticed some oil spots/puddles in the driveway today. Checked dip stick it was down a bit. Refilled and went for a drive. I notice severe dripping coming from bottom. I swapped my ECM and plan on taking it in tomorrow. Any thoughts ??

Just got some news. Dealer says the oil sensor was leaking. $62.00 part. (Rock Auto has it for 32.79) :mad:I asked about oil cooler said it was the seal around the sensor. Im hoping the motor doesnt take a sh*t.

The sensor has no seal, it may have become loose and leaked, The Picture Below shows I added live gage, the two black sensors are Oil temp and Oil pressure switch. None of the VM3.0 2014-19 have live Oil pressure sensor. The EVIC is L-O-M.

Thank you for info. Excuse my ignorance, but what is live gage, and EVIC is L-O-M ? Unfortunately you deal with a service assistant and not the mechanic.

L-O-M Lie O meter, The EVIC is Programed PSI, Their is NO OIL OEM Pressure sensor on the engine.
