Hi everyone
I have been using Shell T6 in my truck since new and now cannot find it anywhere. Autozone recently told me it’s no longer available
I hear Mobil 1 5-40 is good but curious as to what most Are using?

I just bought Rotella T6 at Autozone 2 weeks ago. The store I was at had plenty of it.

5/40w T6 is in short supply to NO supply and likely continuing into MID/LATE 2022, 15/40w T6 supply is also sparse to find. You can mix multi grades of the same MFG, Just DON"T do it 50/50....its also a good idea NOT to mix brands at service, adding different brand when low after miles of use is OK, due to the fact running low lube is worst than adding NO lube at ALL.

I got a flyer from my local napa store that listed T6 5W40 for $24.99 a gallon, I've been paying about $22.00 a gallon at Walmart & Tractor supply. I tried to order from Napa & they're not available, I can get 15w40 but not fond of the idea.

Ive only put T6 in my eco until last week. The national shortage of T6 forced me to use another brand. The auto manager at Advanced recommended Chevrons Delo. A week later and so far, so good. I did call Ram while at the store and the service guy told me Delo works and they will honor my warranty using that oil.

I recently got T6 10-40w at Tractor Supply. They just opened several stores in my area of Upstate NY. I also could barely find t6 10w-40 at major outlets. List it online, then blink blink, and out of stock.

It has been good for T6 here in Oklahoma until recently, now no supply. During the freeze in Texas in February of 2021 up to 24 refineries suffered from mild to sever damage to facilities. This created a two to eight week loss of production. Shell had stated that a shortage may occur in the spring but it appears that warehouse inventory kept up with demand until mid year. The shortage should correct by mid year 2022. I recently used Valvoline Premium Blue full synthetic 5w-40.
