After pouring over the large amount of problems including fires, egr problems, oilcooler delete, etc; it’s easy to get stuck into thinking that these trucks are a candidate for the Lemon Law. My question is, I wonder how many stock Ecodiesel trucks are out there and never have any of these issues? It seems that we never hear of too many satisfied owners that are happy with the truck.

I thought mine was one till I had a glow plug issue and requested the previous service records from the original dealer 600 miles away lol no aem done to mine and I love it so much I tuned it!!

Very pleased with mine. That being said my SCR/DPF was replaced under recall 2014 specific, my DEF tank was replaced a couple months back under warranty. The AEM made my truck a real turd, so I tuned it. I did install an external oil cooler with secondary oil filter in response to the 2014 specific oil/water cooler failures. I spend a lot of time on highway usage, and towed light until last year when we purchased a Toyhauler RV less than 7K. Traded it this year for another Toyhauler RV at 7K. Was looking for a Chevy crew cab Z71 when I found this truck.
