i recently purchased a banks intake manifold and was reading that it deletes the throttle valve on the engine. however do i need some other kit to finish deleting the throttle off of the vehicle? i called and talked to banks and they were no help which i guessed would be the case but didn't think it would hurt to call and ask.

You will need a tuned ECM in order to use the intake manifold. From what I understand there's no swirl valves or provisions for the EGR. Your tuner should be able to tune accordingly.
