Don there is no clear fix. Just slow down, take your time. Let it cool if comes down to it. I tow a fair amount of weight with mine. I have never seen oil temps over 242. I use crankcase flush just before each oil change to clean out the oil heat exchanger/cooler and turbo lines. Also run 5w40 European synthetic and change every 5k.
