i picked up a 2016 laramie ecodiesel last year and have towed my 29ft 6k lb travel trailer 4 times so far with it. 100-250mile trips. very pleased with its capability and stability after adding the airlift 1000 air bags in the rear. this weekend i am installing a stage 2 tune, egr delete and exhaust delete straight pipe.
what are folks experience and/or opinion on towing with a tuned ecodiesel?
i know the cummins/duramax/powerstroke folks say they higher tunes are for when unloaded, and to use a med to low tune setting when towing or loaded down. any similar concerns with tunes on this eco motor?
thanks

Always use the tow/haul button. I am picking up my brand new camper this weekend 29' 6400 lbs. Maiden voyage later this month. My truck has engine and trans tune.

I just did a full delete and use SFT stage 2. It is a game changer for towing. My oil temps are averaging 15 degrees lower when towing up Cottonwood pass. I was able to tow 5k travel trailer 45 mph up the pass and highest oil temp was 231. I had seen as high 255 last few times I towed over the same pass. Next up is some heavy duty springs for the rear end.
