Truck died

I was operating my truck back in the trailer up on an incline truck just stopped would not start again crank but no start wondering maybe I ran out of fuel So I tried to procedure putting it into run several times without touching the break after I have a fuel still a little start not like to put it in neutral to tow it off the entire but the electronic shift won’t work. What can I do?

Sorry, Siri wasn’t very accurate. I was backing my truck and trailer up on an incline, and it just stopped. It would not restart but cranked very good fuel level was getting low so I thought it might’ve ran out of fuel do the incline, so I added fuel did the ignition run procedure several times without stepping on the break to try to prime the pump still would not start I would like now to put it in neutral, but even with the ignition in the run position electronic shift would not work How can I put my truck in neutral so I can turn off the incline and see if I can start it
