A legitimate tune will remove that lag. If you leave it stock learn to roll into it, stomping the peddle is the worst.

I installed GDE tune on my 2015 and it solved the lag. Recommend you add the regen and engine braking options. For those that live in U.S. states that require emissions testing, this is a compliant, great option when compared to deleting.

On my 2015 EcoDiesel, I noticed the same problem. I purchased a Pedal Commander and plugged it in. That solved the problem sufficiently for me.

Ecodiesel nothing but trouble. Design flaws galore!

Appx. 70K miles on mine with Pedal Commander and only issue is the air dam actuator failed recently. Oversize tires and still averaging 21+ Mpg per tank. Vehicle junkie here. Have owned 57 vehicles and will be keeping this one for a while! 3rd Gen EcoDiesel fan here!

I have a 2016 RAM and the lag was definitely horrible and throttle response was disasterous. A Pedal Commander will help, but I also recomend the exhaust and the intake. Its not crazy power gains but makes all the difference in the world.
