Water Pump Bypass Hose

The bypass hose for the water pump is leaking. Dealer ship wants $620+ to replace. I verified that the hose is about $40. What experience have you had with this? Danny
 
Crazy price. If it were the water pump, yes but not just a hose. Change it yourself. At least you know it's done right.
 
Wow. You can replace it in about 30 minutes.
 
You can order a new hose, which is actually a plastic pipe with the seals on Amazon for $14. I have the same issue when the weather got colder. I’m gonna replace it today. It appears to be an easy job.
