A 3/4 ton Dak? Ummmm........no.
Ummm yes. I had a 1998 Dakota 3/4 ton. It was available if your dealer would take the time to order it (not a mega dealer - a small town dealer...) Mine was a white SLT. Delivered many a cast iron boiler in it

Traded a 2015 Super Duty, 6,600 miles, gasser! Milage was 11-12 no load! Had a 6.0 before that, 17-18 mpg. Needless to say I couldn't wait to get back to an oil burner.

We all have the same feeling. Love the diesel!

Mine was a white SLT

Mine was a Burgundy SLT, looked high and low to find it, located it at a local dealer in town much to my surprise. Regularly carried 1" and 2" river rock in the back and pulled a 5,000 lb camper with her.

Googled it and there is nothing on the internet about a factory stock 3/4 ton Dakota. I found a custom build but that's it.

Hd leaf springs and a 9.25 rear end were factory available options and the dakota was already classified as a half ton capable truck with a midsize platform. So with available hd options equipped owners considered it a 3/4 ton dakota. Still only a heavy half. And still a midsize platform but people like to spice things up so 3/4 ton dakota it was referred to

It was presented to me as capable to haul 3/4 ton, sold as a 3/4 ton and could and did, haul in the bed 3/4 ton on occasion close to 1 ton, she was also rated to pull 5,000 lbs. Now it's weakness where the front end, two sets of ball joints and tie rod ends in under 90,000 miles, plus it loved gas. On a good day going down hill with a tail wind I might get 17 MPG. Around town and normal cruise 7 to 11. Grossly under powered with the 4.7 liter, I was literately pulling the bottom end out of it, why I got rid of her.

I traded a 2012 Dodge Durango Crew, with 65k. Loved the Durango and it served my family and I well. I have always wanted a truck and the opportunity was right. I got a great deal and I was very happy with the trade price . Have 2900 miles on new 1500 Crew ED, did my first oil change at 2391 and no issues. Been to PA 3-times and love the way this truck rides, great mileage avg town 22 and 28 on hwy. Put side steps on and Bak Revolution X2 roll bed cover.

Let's see... I traded a lifted 2015 F150 for a 2015 Tarus SHO which my wife than claimed. Which left me to drive a 2014 Hyuandai Accent. I than traded the Accent for the EcoDiesel. I would rather drive the Exodiesel over the F150, SHO or accent any day:)

I Traded a 2014 ford F150 Super crew, FX4, 5.0. I loved the V8 rumble especially after the Roush treatment But I hated the 16 mpg and electrical problems (My Sync Touch)

I see a lot of users switching from a Ford over to the EcoDiesel.

Are you ready... I traded a 2006 VW Jetta TDI that gave me 43 mpg and I ran it on veg oil for almost 2 years. That was an experience for sure and a great learning curve. I have no regrets in making the swap. My clutch leg was telling me that it had enough and it was time to make the change.
