Won't start

I have a 2017 eco diesel. Yesterday I was driving and my truck just stopped running. I pushed start and it just cranked and starter just kept going. It stopped if I put on brakes and pushed start again. I didn’t know the trick to get it to neutral so I was stuck in the middle of the road. Had it taken to a dealership, I will post the cause and solution later

any codes? Mine won't start in my driveway and it's not throwing any codes. I'm leaning to fuel pump.
