Vern has replaced his, around 350k miles or there abouts. I believe it was under $8k.

371,500 she pushed out a head gasket. I decided better to buy than rebuild. Complete new motor came with new fuel pump, injectors, turbo, etc $5,500. This also included manufacturer 24 month unlimited mileage warranty. Great deal for a Diesel engine IMO. Book hours normal Midwest shop rates $2k to R&R.

FYI I got a real good price on that motor. I think suggested dealership retail is like 7K.

Hi
Where did you buy your new engine
Thanks

Where VernDiesel got he’s engine i need one
Thanks

I got mine for a wholesale-ish price. I’ve heard they are higher now but don’t know how much. Green Diesel Engineering (GDE) got me mine. I don’t believe they are a retailer/wholesaler for FCA but certainly you can talk to them. I also have there ECM and transmission tunes and have had great experience with those. ://www.greendieselengineering.com/Engine-Tune/1_31_-1_-1.action

This...new engine $8900
This was March 2019. And i don't believe the web site is valid anymore. Supply and demand, some dealers prices are better than others. Obviously not warranty on your end...
