I hope things go we'll for GDE, If combustion soot can be reduced that much the plenum will not need servicing until 100K+ miles.
Current 3.0VM owners will have additional player in the Tuning world.
I hate VM, Why Fait Bosch jump in bed with that company still baffle's Me. Billion's $ in...
GDE, I see your point, You just cannot assume what driving habits owners have.
Hmm I doubt YOU reduce Soot creation by 80% VS OEM, Soot formation would be at best a Guess , I would agree turning off the EGR will diffidently reduce soot intake 80%+ IMO.
I have Stationary de-sooted My Eco up to...
The distance on Regen not the best way to gage Health, The Material the DPF is made of can easily live at 2000F+ for 1000s of Active regens, I would rather have Regen occurring frequently.
The only way to stop soot in Dsl is NOT to produce it. Dart driving creates soot while HWY driving reduces...
Your driving habits (Good) have been adequate to allow regens to complete. So No need for the % Message.
You need a tune or device to View active Regens
.
Yep I would not return to that Place, I can only imagine the hack repairs that are commonly performed.
Just another short coming of VM, Most modern day power plants have the technology/programing to jump from Crank to Cam sensor. in case of failure. That tone/reluctor ring can fail at any...
Your not Done. I've unplugged that sensor at its pigtail and Was able to put the Vehicle in Neutral Knob/TC after steeping on the brake, maybe that was what the tow driver did not do.
I don't put anything pass Dealers.
Example: Dealer have replace the HPP/Injectors and the problem still...

These are prohibitions against selling, offering to sell, or installing any part or component whose principal effect...
It won't be 2020 Engine. Most likely Long Block.
2014-19 is no longer in production. Owners with truck produce during those years are stuck with LB.
Another reason NOT to buy overseas Power Plants, If the engine is a Zero and pukes, local rebuilders will be rare.
Read up on the 3.0VM here at this site and Stay away from 1500diesel.com. Many good members at that site, its the a hand full of Mods that will serve you a hand full of *&()
What are Your plans, use for the truck?
The Intake (Plenum) and if the Valves are cake Up or wrapped the heads need replacing.
Your only choices are Tune/Sell or it will happen again.
If you want GDE Tuning find a shop in CANADA that you trust, Maybe GDE has trusted shops in CA and Just pay the handling and ride Charges Back to USA...
Its mostly the big harness under the dash.
Its simple procedure to manually place the vehicle in (N) as john posted, The driver of the flatbed was NOT qualified to tow your vehicle, Its also unlikely any damage resulted in dragging it on to the Bed.
ECM/PCM going Bad are equal to a Hurricane...
NO. Post #3, The electronic PRV will need to be inspected and re-installed, the FCA may need replacing. The rail pressure is not within mapping thats why its triggering the code.
