Local rv Shop was only about 180 to install my 5th wheel plates but standard box so I didn't mess with the install itself. I use the Andersen hitch and am very happy with it. And it's light so it's no back ache to take it in or out at 45# (the full steel 5th wheel version)
Only thing with the...
I ran one for a interval early in my ownership but didn't notice any difference. It went on the shelf and I've Used paper ever since. I think if a person went to a reusable then the aem dry would be the way to go. Just my 2¢
The dj oil cooler system is the only one that I am aware of that includes a thermal valve that limits flow to allow oil temps to raise to efficient temperatures in cold climate. Northern Minnesota myself so that's on the docket if I ever start building up the truck
Yeah same thing as their kit, it's a tee to an electronic pressure sensor. They just redirect the signal into the evic opposed to into a secondary monitor ie edge cts
It runs just like any conventional oil cooler that does not use the coolant to heat the oil to 200 and then try to keep it within those specs. The air cooled will be using ambient temperature vs oil temp from load, without any additional coolant fired heating element. Dj oil cooler also has a...
Had a leak one time, had just drained the water separator and pinched the o-ring closing the drain. Got to my destination 6 hours away and there was a nice coat of diesel across everything behind me (Boat included). Sometimes it can be something stupid!
Glad the Shop found your problem eventually
Not sure about a test port but the kit for actual oil pressure sensor that gde has uses a plug on the oil filter housing I'm pretty sure.
Maybe look into that for an idea where you can check?
Hope this helps
@TC Diesel does that include factory tune? You run gde as far as I know.. which is what they recommend. Just def in winter so you get lower freeze point and slush vs the ice brick
Probably February? Can't tell you how many miles, maybe it's correct who knows. 2.5 gal is about 1/3 so it's not too crazy off. That's just not a message I'd like to see..
Probably should've tried a restart before anything else, but I got to town grabbed a 2.5gal jug which I have doing but gauge registered it and bumped shy of half and the restart message is gone.
Anyone else experience this no restart message with Def on the gauge?
Not sure if the tank sensor is junk.. or def injector plugged? I was planning to delete this summer.. I guess now it's this month...
Oh man I wish I took pictures today.
So replacement sensors showed up, thought I'd slap the front on and see if it was all good in the Hood.. negative, check the rear that threw code? Find 5th wheel frame bracket pinching wire harness to ride height sensor, fuck.
Call the rv Shop that...
Is seeing a bunch of soot buildup necessarily good? No. Especially from an ownership standpoint, particularly uncomfortable. But have you ever heard of it causing problems or failure? Or is it just shunned upon for no reason? I've heard nothing of it personally causing a particular failure of...
I am totally with you @Ronald Doupe
BTW 71k never touched my engine other than oil fuel and air filters. Got a flash at just shy of 3 years for a Def tank sensor. I realize I'm not the heaviest user but I've done my fair share of miles
Catastrophic failure. Thanks Chrysler.
Actually found the link side bounced up into the transmission cross member where I found it when putting floor Jack under the vehicle. Crazy.
