Yes there was a tsb issued for the trucks for intercooler icing up without a winter front. So every ram truck that came with a factory installed block heater CABLE is eligible and/or received a mopar winter front free of charge. Those trucks without a factory installed block heater CABLE are not...
On a safety note you need something more than 1000# ratchet straps for a full size truck on a trailer, and I'd stay with weight distribution, back the vehicle onto the trailer persay or even rolling back onto the dovetail some
Or run a harness system that specifically includes a capacitor. I had an in line capacitor go bad and my seamless HID system began to flicker. A small inline capacitor and using a relay harness is the trick for the trucks.
Did you do just a bulb upgrade or a new housing? A little unclear, I upgraded bulbs with something similar to their type B hid low beam system with fantastic results
Yeah I do not see the 2019 being the big revamp that it was supposed to be but likely a facelift, like you said grim, there will be more to come in the future.
I saw some stuff out there that kinda looked like a possible half ton Mega cab, they also have a rear door redesign and are possibly integrating the fold flat rear seats.
Also heavier axles as it had 6 bolt opposed to our now 5 on 5.5
That photo above is a photo Shop pinched ram of our current...
The regeneration cycle super heating the exhaust only happens at certain mileage intervals, most times you do not notice it. It's just "clean" diesel technology for now
They do, and they only cover the upper half of the grill. It is enough to help in the summer get to operating temp seconds faster, and decrease drag fractionally but it is not enough to counteract full winter temperatures.
That isn't causing failure persay, it introduces the oil/coolant sludge into the engine and the dealership cannot really flush it out properly, a very tedious process that seems to often result in engine replacement because of inability to remove oil contaminants from the cooling system. But...
Ok as many people know there are adjustable air suspension links manufactured by "adjustable air ride" manufactured for our trucks, which is a good product but it's $299USD.
I'm planning to build some custom adjustable links over the next few weeks and I am wondering if there is any market for...
You wouldn't believe it but if I recall it is like a 12 hour job to do a glow plug as you have to drop the entire engine/lift the Body off of the frame
