when they get up to temp the smell goes away the hoter the better

new fords have the same problems the eko has but the dealers tell the owners 2 tune them now there is no tuners for them so we r going out of the USA to buy them

u r one of the lucky ones I work on diesels 4 a living there is a lot of junk running around out there

they don't have any idea how 2 fix the eco and they don't know how 2 diagnose problems they rely on the wytek scanner and then they guess or hope they r right

rhe only problem with the egr cooler is antifreeze and bearings don't mix it tears them real quick the next problem they r on backorder

the dealer does not want 2 do any thing but 2 get it back on the road they r not 2 friendly to their customer sacrifice

not 2 bad those kits r getting hard 2 find in the states good tunes r impossible 2 find here

the kits usually come with picture illustrations

check the water when cold it should b up 2 the seam of the tank

welcome 2 the group check the tail piped and see if they r black inside the chrome take the top cover off and the 2 foam pads and look and see if the injectors r leaking

welcome 2 the group as u know the egr is backordered but that is not the only problem its the antifreeze going through the motor it tears the internals apart especially the rod a d main brgs so u will have have more than your fingers crossed

yea and imagen what r they going 2 do for parts they r already on backorder if u keep on playing with these problems u will be putting a engine in the truck antifreeze will eat the bearings out of the engine

welcome 2 the group sorry for your problems common with these ecos did u have the foam removed and the plastic cover removed from the top of the engine ever probably burned through the intake and caught every thing else on fire

fmc does not have a customer care they don't give a shit what u do they have the attitude a sucker born every minute there is a lot of 14 /15 / 16 and so on ecos sold every day I can not believe how stupid people r for buying a headache

I doubt if any one in USA is selling cat and dpf pipes it is a project 2 change the turbo on the eco it is much easier 2 add another

the best tune for the money is out of Canada I tried 2 order tunes for a Ford super duty in the states no luck every one will sell u the tuner bur no tune every tuner in Canada will take care of u the best so far is hddiesel supply out of winnapeg CA. no one in the United states can shut the egr...
