Great video, that is pretty much what I was thinking. I wasn't expecting to use very much pressure in the bags. I have had them since October and hope to be putting them in the next clue weeks. It is kind of interesting in the top comments they don't recommend air bags and WDH together at all...

    My adventure with SofaKingTuned

A quick note on this, my GDE tuned truck has alerted me DPF is 80% full 3 times since installation 1511 miles ago. That tells me I am going 500 miles between regens!?

Just a quick question for anyone . Do you use a weight distributing hitch with your airbags and if so what is your process for hooking up the hitch and filling airbags?

    Introduction

Welcome, most people who are running an ECU or ECU/trans combo tune say the same thing.... I wish I would have done it sooner.

    My adventure with SofaKingTuned

Great reporting, I have the SFT trans tune also with stock size tires and the thing that jumps out at me is the downshifting coming up to a stop light or sign. The trans does seem a little more active also. My engine is GDE tuned..

January 2020 Poll: Would you purchase your EcoDiesel again?

Well I have a caveat also. I voted yes - had the emissions recall done (but promptly overwrote the recall! :))

    New to owning a diesel

I hope I didn't come across as braggadocio... I have found the information on this forum to be invaluable as I picked through some of the fantastic posts from people who are very knowledgeable. I firmly believe the reason my truck is still in good running order is because I took a lot of the...

    MAJOR Diesel-ema...

Well that is a big change from 10,000 to 6-7K. 10000 would be at or over the max rated tow capacity. I have a crew cab 5.7 foot 4 x 4 and the max is 9460. I tow 5000 all the time with no issues.

    New to owning a diesel

Welcome, I will say a lot of people aren't that happy with the ecodiesel BUT... there are some of us who have had a flawless ownership experience. 2015 bought new and I have never had a check engine light or stutter in roughly 46,000 miles. I will say that after the "recall" for emissions...

    What's the best Engine Tune

Can I switch the trans tune back and forth with the hand held tuner also? I already have the TT installed and it is absolutely awesome.

    Reimbursement Timeline?

Not making excuses for poor customer service, FCA should have had a plan and tracking mechanism in place but I wonder how many trucks have been bought and sold multiple times and have had multiple owners (3 or more) in multiple states.

    SFT Tuning Vs. Box Tunes.

The banks derringer is the replacement for the bullet. I am curious if the i dash super gauge will work with a tune like GDE or SFT. I have emailed an inquiry to banks asking. The website lists some aftermarket ECU's that are compatible.

    Second Opinion (Shop Work)

    Keep it or sell it

There are only a couple out there presently, however you need to be prepared that tuning will void your warranty unless you can take the tune in and out for trips to the dealer. "Sofa King Tuned" is one that is very popular.

    Keep it or sell it

If you read around on these forums installing a tune appears to increase owner satisfaction greatly. It won't solve every problem in the world.
