If you don't mind telling us:
1. When did you file the paperwork,
2. Get the claim verified
3. Have the flash done (and how is it?)
4. Send in the notarized stuff
Can you give us a timeline and where are you?
Thanks
This is what I am seeing when I go to Track claim..
Track Your Claim
Claim Under Review
Your claim has been successfully submitted and will now be reviewed to make sure it is complete. We will contact you if we need any further information. Once we confirm your submission is complete, we will...
No, I have submitted my paperwork for approval and the Track Eco Claim says "documents pending". After it is approved I will schedule the flash and move forward from there. Fortunately I will not need to wait for the check if I decide to do a tune.
Unless you are using your truck for a business of some sort (or made of money) it doesn't seen realistic to just go buy a new $40000 to $70000 truck. I bought mine for (supposed) diesel longevity and plan on keeping for as long as possible. At 40,000 miles I appear to be entering the danger zone...
I know aluminum block diesels have been around for a while but I would be leary of the new chevrolet. I do like the idea of a straight six diesel but I am not sure I trust GM and the first run aluminum block.
I alway s buy OEM oil and fuel filters just for my records. Probably a little more expensive but Amazon has ok prices and 2 oil filters + 1 fuel filter a year doesn't seem that bad. A fumoto oil drain valve makes life much easier though. I do run a K & N air filter though.
Welcome and hope you love your truck! My 2015 has been great and I look forward to hearing about your rear air bag suspension plans. Are you going self leveling or still a little ways away from those plans yet?
It may not be too difficult to replace the wheel yourself if you are good at following directions. Other than that a thin cover will probably be your best bet. Quite a few options for "around" $100.00
So a question for you Jon, Are you going to take your truck in for the ECO diesel settlement and get the "flash" from the dealer and then flash again or just let that go?
