    Who's running a tune

I think the customer basis will be slim to none for anyone doing significantly built eco's. Nobody buys a baby fiat diesel with plans to hit 1000lb torque numbers to sled pull or run at the strip. It's no hot rod and nobody jumps in the truck feeling like it ever will be. It's an economical...

    Who's running a tune

Ok 600 (correction I'm assuming they meant torque) lb/ft. Is kind of a ridiculous number. I mean 50% output over stock just isn't achievable without altering hardware. No tune will do that. Not even a 800lb/ft factory Cummins are you going to see a tune that runs 1200lb/ft. Larger Turbo and...

    Ecodiesel air ride lift/level

Here is the link to the adjustable links for leveling the front. Or slightly lifting the truck. Utilizes the factory suspension just tricks the sensor to be able to change the height. So it's a minimally invasive lift or level. http://www.adjustableairride.com/mobile/car.php?id=44

ABS Light with Remote Start, Cruise doesn't work

I have no idea what is causing the ABS malfunction but that light being on is what is prevention cruise control. Air suspension, ABS, esc, so on and so forth; anything regarding the suspension o braking system that puts on a EVIC message and your cruise control will not operate. I had a little...

    Winter Mods

Oil and fuel filter change right before snow flies. Block heater (religiously) and winter front. No additives yet, Holiday blends to temp seasonally and I almost strictly use their fuel. But Silver 911 on hand and spare fuel Filters at home (will probably move one to the truck soon) if there's...

    After market Remote Start

A lot of short trips really isn't an issue you just need a good highway drive once a week to clear out the system. And if the filter gets 80% and you get an EVIC message so what? It's no big deal, you can sit for 10 minutes at your destination and run it at about 1900rpms (which is a little...

    Aftermarket Light options

The HID is day and night difference. I wish you could drive my truck to see side by side comparison. It's amazing the difference and really puts out the light the truck should've had to begin with.

Biggest tire size for stock height truck?

But you don't have factory rims so did your offset change and or rim width on the 17s? I have heard 285 series to fit but not 295 factory. Even with front leveling

    After market Remote Start

The truck won't heat it a solid 10 seconds it's just a delay to let the computer get everything up to temp. So you won't do any harm overheating the glow plugs with an unnecessary delay. Theoretically it should be just 10seconds set it and forget it. Good enough forever

    EcoDiesel Oil Change Intervals

Yeah the ram no matter what application or hours is only a mile counter. I run about 7k intervals
  14. jdn112011

    After market Remote Start

Block heater is essential to minimize engine wear but the 10 second delay would probably be best for glow plugs to assure any weather starting. And if it's not a temp issue well it's 8 additional seconds that you didn't have your truck running after you asked it too. Not the end of the world...

    ECM Removal & Install

I know I've seen one. There's kind of two options, if I recall, either remove the intake box to access the top and/or you also have to unfasten the rear (cab side) of the passenger front wheel well to access the plug and other mount. Typical R&I. Of course computer so have the battery...

What exterior accessories have you added?

Had it all installed anyways, then had a warm day I had to go out of town last week. 55-60 degrees, oil and coolant temps were hitting mid 220s so I stopped and pulled the top off, took all of 45 seconds on the side of the road. Winter is showing up tonight and seems here to stay so it'll be...

    Oil leak.

Maybe so but after one serious shop failure in doing so I think I'd have taken two truck payments and continued oil changes myself. And if you're considering Trading in in a couple years I don't foresee you getting your value out of 60k worth of oil changes that you don't use

    engine failure @ 148000 miles.

But what you were gambling was whether or not you had to have your $5,000 eBay drivetrain painted cat yellow installed into your truck vs saving the one that is in it. Regardless of any shop or dealer quote to drop in a new 30k engine that's far from taking a 30k gamble... I mean anyone in your...
