Up pipes are form the exhaust manifolds to Exhaust housing (Turbo) the 3.0 has another up pipe to EGR Chamber, TOP is the outlet side of turbo to exhaust or SCR/DPF.. I suppose you could look at the up pipe as the inlet to EGR chamber.

12-14F, If you want to conduct your own test just take some DEF place it in clear plastic bottle, then put it in freezer, after a few hrs remove and unthaw with hair dryer. Do this like 10 times, the 11 time just let it thaw on its own .

What GDE is monitors the EGR Valve..The problem with this is the hot gases are entering the EGR coolant chamber I wonder what the future of that chamber will look like with years of...
