I'm sure a lot of focus was put into the DPF's and Urea systems as not exactly "new" technology now. They've been in use since 07 on light duty trucks so a lot has been taken from that. Lets hope I'm right though.

Yea the only thing im worried about is the def fluid as other automakers have had problems with that.

I'm with boostn I'm not 100% sold yet, but I'm pretty confident once I drive one I'll be set.

I will wash mine. Dealers always do a terrible job at getting it ready. Wash, get a good coat of wax also.

That's exactly why. The Ram press release had a statement from the chief engineer telling consumers the 3.0 L offered power yet fuel economy we're looking for. If a 3.0L gets the job done I'm fine with that.

Could be something as simple as tooling on the assembly line, lets hope nothing major (hard parts for motor, etc).

I would say 27+ would be expected from a half ton diesel. It must be considerable higher than the gas motor for consumers to justify the cost.
