Well, I got an update today and my truck is in the paint phase, hopefully it won't be long now.

Well this is the 1st add-on piece I've purchased for my new truck when it arrives, it's kinda sad that knowing how much $$$$'s we've spent on these trucks, one has to make this type of purchase.

I will defiantly keep that in mind whenever I get mine and do my first oil change.

I imagine it's a liability issue, of some sort.

Andy, did you check the oil level before or after the engine was started. If you checked it before starting the engine, the oil wasn't in the oil filter yet. I'm not sure what the filter capacity is.

I just wish Edge would get the comms issue resolved for the 2016's, after reading the issue's some people are having it would be nice to be able to monitor the params on my new truck when it arrives. I talked to Edge tech support yesterday and they have no idea when the issue will be resolved.

They haven't released it yet....:cry::mad:

What do y'all think about installing a petcock drain valve on the fuel filter canister, would it be prone to being knocked off by debris since it wouldn't sit flush on the canister?

Thanks, I think so also and the G2 version of these have a 50,000 mile tread warrant. The G2 version will be going on mine as soon as I can get it lifted.
