I don't know how well the actual dial is made, but think of this as an electronic shifter, as opposed to a mechanical one. Virtually ALL of the modern luxury car makers such as BMW, Mercedes, Lexus, etc. are using electronic shifters. Perhaps not in the form of a dial, but more like a...
Update: The truck is in 'JS' (storage) From what I understand this is where they go through quality assurance (as in there was a bad part manufactured and they want to ensure that that run or date code isn't on a truck that's ready to go out) or the dealer can't accept delivery because their...
I'm not that knowledgeable when it comes to turbos. I would have to imagine that modifying the exhaust from turbo back wouldn't make that much of a difference, and it's more that you are seeking a change in sound? Perhaps if you were to add a performance chip then the exhaust would be more...
Will have sliding windows with reinforced dog screens. Also perused Truxedo, and if I was going for a tonneau cover, these guys would definitely be in the running. I like how everything is thought through.
My wife & I are zeroing in on a SnugTop ExtraVision shell. We like to take our dog with us in his crate, and the back seats are used by the kids, so he must go in the bed, and using a folding cover doesn't make sense. Assuming all things being equal between shell cap manufacturers, is that the...
Ok, so here are my thoughts. The current Ram series trucks has a hood that's almost horizontal on the front edge. So would it really be protecting it from chips and bugs? Also if you add the deflector since it will also be almost horizontal, then it probably wont reduce the amount of bugs...
Although, since your post about lug patterns, you reminded me that I do need to get lug locks. Will probably get Gorilla locks. I've had them before and they work great and look better in my opinion. However, if someone has a favorite, let us know!
Wow, you got Cojones! 20 years ago, I wouldn't have thought twice about modifying an engine. Now-a-days, if I do something wrong the expense is too big for me to recover from, considering college tuition, kids weddings, retirement, etc.!
Question. If first and second service is at 10k intervals, and scheduled maintenance is to be done by dealer, than why would I need to purchase oil? Is it that before the 10k mark, I will need to have added oil to keep the oil full up to each scheduled maintenance? Or is that some people...
Welcome, and a couple of quick thoughts... First, I ordered my ED without knowing from another owner what the actual mileage was. It was more of a 'Well Ram is the first to market with a small diesel in a 1500, and I don't need or want to pay for a 2500 or equivalent, and I don't like the rough...
Actually I did call customer service, and they mentioned that the sight has been down for awhile and probably won't resume until early November when the new ordering cycle begins. She then asked me for both my VIN & VON #'s (which I had neither since I never received an email from corporate) so...
Thanks! I just got a reply back from Mopar, and they confirmed that they don't have anything yet (cab length or wheel to wheel) for the 2015 EcoDiesel. There must have been some kind of change underneath the vehicle.
Hey Guys,
I'm waiting for my delivery on a 2015 EcoDiesel Laramie, crew cab with 5'-7" bed, which I think is the only bed length offered now for the EcoDiesel but not too sure. Anyway, I've been calling around for W2W (wheel to wheel) length oval side steps, and what I'm finding out is that...
