Now that I'm rereading the question, I realize that my information cab be misconstrued. I don't think there are any differences in appearance between the gas and EcoDiesels. The only differences lie in the trim level regardless if it's a gas or EcoDiesel 1500. Maybe one difference would be...
Ok, update. So we ordered back in late September. The dealer calls me last week to notify me that we should receive it the 2nd or 3rd week in November. So I'm excited about that. But he also mentioned that the website for order tracking was down, which is why I haven't been receiving any...
I believe the one I'm getting will look just like yours on the outside... Metallic graphite (I think it's called) with six spoke chrome wheels, which I believe are for Laramie's only but not too sure. Only difference is that yours is garaged and mine won't be. :(
You have to create leverage. First find 2 EcoDiesels at 2 different dealerships that you would consider purchasing. Ask for the print out of both of them for you to take home and review. Now wait until the end of the month, so you can hit both places on the same day or weekend. One of the...
Hi Ron, If you hate waiting, don't wait too long. Keep in mind that Ram closes the plant for around 3 weeks over the holidays. That means that if your order isn't in soon, you will most likely take delivery in 2015. Just wanted to make you aware of this.
If need be, you could base your decision of off the V-8 gas engine. You would be surprised at how quiet the EcoDiesel is... It's truly the new generation of diesels right now. You can only hear the clatter from the outside, and even then you have to pay attention for it. It's not nearly as...
What about the diesel fuel? Don't know what's in your area, but do you a big oil company like Chevron, Shell or Mobil? Or do you just go to your local gas station that's the cheapest, and if so does it make for any problems with the engine?
It's a Laramie 2x4 crew cab with 3.55 limited slip, spray-in bed liner, 8.4A (no nav, at least for now), & 9 speaker stereo. Will aftermarket window tint, bed cover or shell, and running boards.
So what does that mean that it freezes below 12 degreees? Does that mean that it isn't used or necessary at that temperature? Or is there some kind of heater that keeps the DEF fluid from freezing? Let us know. Thanks!
Having just ordered one. The bodies are the same, what's different are small cosmetic differences between the trim levels such as chrome mirrors (or for that matter larger mirrors for towing), chrome or body colored bumpers, and some models have LED tailamps while others don't. There's...
Hey Guys,
Besides the obvious, I would like to know what the pros & cons are, or perhaps what drove you to buy or consider a folding bed cover or a shell. I haven't decided yet, but I do know that I do want to have the bed covered somehow. Let me know what your thoughts and/or experiences...
I should also probably have mentioned that they know 'show' the pricing when putting in the order. Also, this is for the 2015. Last is please consider the following: The plant SHUTS DOWN OVER THE CHRISTMAS & NEW YEAR HOLIDAYS!. These means that if your in a hurry to get your EcoDiesel as we...
Kinda like buying milk huh?! I didn't expect to hear that it would have an expiration date? Does it have to be stored in the fridge too? (Just kidding!)
So in the gasoline world Chevron has it's Techron, Shell has V-Power, and Union 76, Mobil, etc. all claim that they have the best additive to keep our fuel systems and combustion chambers clean, and it appears that some formulations work better than others. So since this will be my first diesel...
