I will be going with the Sasquatch kit also. It seems more complete to me.....just looking at the pics on their website.

You need to get yourself a edge CTS or CTS2 monitor. It plugs into the OBD2 port under your steering wheel.
With it you can watch your soot level, and you can force a regen, and go take the truck for a spin to compete it.

Your truck will regen once it's up to operating temps, and your rpms are above 1500. And it doesn't take 30 mins. Mine typically completes in 4-5 miles of highway driving.

Have you checked your map sensor. Sounds like that might be your problem. If not at least you could rule it out. And it's only about a 10-15 min check, and clean.

It's not hard. The map sensor is under the motor cover in the back center of the motor. You need to remove the foam insulator, and it's easier to get to if you remove the fresh air intake tube.
T40 torx bolt and disconnect the wire from it. 10 min job.
I didn't remove the egr tube from mine...
