    What is going on??

Well I read your post and am trying to remember what the differences are towing with my 2015. It seems to me that just driving around my coolant and oil temperatures are pretty close to each other but towing my coolant temperature is higher. I am not sure it is 25 degrees though....

    Hi and def quality check

Spent many childhood years at Ft. Leonard Wood and Rolla as my father was stationed there many times. (early 60's) I have such vivid memories of turtles, fireflies, and just running around in the woods!

    2014 Engine cooling / 3 or 4 core radiator

Interesting, their website does not show a radiator for an eco diesel. More info? https://www.coldcaseradiators.com/product/09-20-dodge-ram-1500-truck-aluminum-performance-radiator

    Hello, Just Joined

You will need a good WDH and do your research setting it up. I have a Rockwood Ultralite and the advertised hitch weight is not anywhere near accurate. Your RAMs payload is probably not as much as you think.

Anyone with good reports of an EcoDiesel?

since I started changing the fuel filter also at 7,500 miles I have not had a regen cycle occur, I am quite happy with that. Paul Paul, all diesels with a DEF system regen unless you have done a full delete on the system. The ecodiesel will not tell you when it is happening unless you have an...

    Confused

I read your question about the cruise control and I will say. That is over my head but if it were me I would check the switches on the wheel and also try and duplicate codes to be sure it really is the CC. Maybe check all physical connections you can too. Seems like plugs and connectors on these...

    GDE Hot Tune 2014-2015

If you buy ALFAobd software you can change the injector codes to your truck. Will require some research on your part but I have read it is not too difficult.

Lucas fuel treatment in a Ram Ecodiesel.

I agree, I hope I didn't sound condescending because it certainly wasn't intended that way!

Anyone with good reports of an EcoDiesel?

Bought a 2015 bighorn brand new, I have 62000 miles on it with about 10000 towing miles or so. It has several upgrades to make it mine. I have enjoyed ownership except for a couple inconvenient recalls. I have never seen a check engine light or "thrown a code." I do change oil every 7500 miles...

Lucas fuel treatment in a Ram Ecodiesel.

You may want to do a little reading on modern diesels in general! Here is a little info on DEF to get you started. You definitely don't want to introduce Urea and water into you fuel system! The eco diesel can be a little temperamental so knowledge is power when it comes to timely maintenance...

    What to look for?

The engine will be the same Generation engine that it replaced. There is no practical way to put the redesigned engine in the older truck.
