Ricerocket, that intake a candid for a fire. We dropped Bedplating years ago.. We now do gridles and Billet Mains for the reasons of Wear....Your mains failure was NOT IMO related to sludge or soot..IMO this Motor POS Period...Buy one if you like too threw the Dice, we now have 10 years Plenty...
Boostn Is correct..owning VM 3.0 is Hero Zero engine...OAs trends may give the owner the insight to sell before it pukes...Buying any Vehicle used with VM 3.0 is generally buying the previous owner's problems...
Ricerocket..The Bed plate IMO is the problem...it will squirm, if it moves even a couple 100thou it spells trouble. Many say its lack off lube do to oil soot, in your case the rest of the rotating mass looks good..The bores are good...If sooting was the problem some wear would have occurred in...
I have tested the ratios, and discovered that the 32.5% is only need to meet near 0 PPM NOx at WOT in most engines that are BlueTech. , it's another EPA requirement promoted by the climate change fanatics that have infiltrated the US GOV, this is how (*&^() up this requirement is One 3 hour...
Correct, I ran My 2015 at levels down to 5% Urea, I generally ran 3 Gallons Distilled Water to 1 Gallon DEF, 2013-16 Ram Cummins 6.7 can run on same levels some 2017 and all 2018+ can run on 2.5 Gallons DEF to 1 Gallon Distilled water..I believe that the Ram 1500s 2018+ should be able to run the...
Air ride problems are a PITR, You need WITECH in most cases to correct the problem(s). ALFA can be used but I 've found its not are useful as WITECH. not to mention You need Nitrogen, Tank ,plus the tools refill the Nitro Tank... and the skill to Navigate WITECH...When problems like this...
Many = what...no doubt they exist...but show me Many 300k miles 3.0 with out major... repairs..and yes stranding the owner in uncontrolled situations is a major problem and considered a major repair .. other than maintenance items.
Many LMBO...THE motor cost Fiat 3.5 $billion+ in loses,10 of 1000s blown motors..countless owners stranded by fires, EGR and plenum, tone ring failures, , ETC, yep and many people believe Joe B is fit to be president.
Biodiesel, NOT that I'm against deleting ,but how many of those 510k miles were made deleted? Thier are Ford 6.0s still on the road but the (Greater) majority of those engines had reliability issues plus repairs, cost to keep them on the road . Deleted the 3.0 and HWY use the 3.0 does OK.
Jesus also made a whip and drove out the thieves that were robbing people that were scarifying at the temple. Called them cave robbers.. IMO, VM Motori new darn well the shorting comings of the 3.0, Yet Fiat still released that motor on American Soil.
It will depend on How MUCH gas you pumped in? I have dealt with this many times over the decades...You can call Me 763-228-7121.. You likely took some life out of the HPCR components, but it's likely can be functional again.
Yes, Also replace the Intake plenum, Upgrade the Turbo coolant lines, and hope the Turbo good ?, Replace the glow plugs and of course use Anti-size.
If you can get this, and want to spend the extra $$$ https://bankspower.com/products/race-component-41390-banks-630t-3-0l-ecodiesel
Beside being Dangerous, (HPCR ) Systems ( downstream OF hp PUMP ) DO NOT REQUIRE being bled, some require priming. HPCR sensors rarely fail...and when they do it generally triggers a specific code. why did you replace it ?
By the way FMC, I was hoping the OP chime in, And I would have said FCA had little impact on bringing VM 3.0 to Americas Soil, it was all/100% Fiat. FMC/FCA had to clean up 100% the mess Fiat made.
