Bruno, Likely (Statements) created by the same source that keeps drinking the Kool-aid, they blame the failures on the same lame excuses.
Hmmm even VM has dropped its ad campaign, Ram was required to remove the ECO in front of Diesel for a valid reason , Nothing is Eco about VM's 3.0.
Please...
Its amazing How little PSI is need in those Bags to Support 1000LBS. IMO you will find 20PSI very Pleasing . The Additional LBS with very little stress added to the trailing arms lower bushings.
You Need to leave at least 5PSI in the bags at ALL times, even that psi is going to raise the vehicle .50-.75
Now that being said I would MAX my PSI at 20PSI. No way in Heck are those cam Bushing going to support the increase Pressure. WHY do 1/2 ton owners believe they have a pulling TRUCK is...
I've Arbitrated Many Insurance and MFG cases , IMO I would go with the single with both parties mutual agreement on the person or the wheel.
Over the years panel decisions Suck, generally favor emotional side of the matter. Gofish You agree?
The Rotating Mass failures (early) are related to QC, IMO the one's at 80K+ miles and later are related to Oil soot problems, Thier are 100+ of owners stating that the engine puke's shortly after lube service, This indicates some type of blockage that let's go and plugged lube journal(s)
IMO...
In my 40 Year Career Thier have only 2 Engines that needed to decommission AECDs to protect the Motor, the 6.0 Ford and 3.0 VM. Thier 100 of thousands of decommissioned vehicles for emission related failures. BIG difference.
Now to the decommissioned facts, I been posting this for Years long...
dkingpt, Many CKT sensors operations are by Hall effects with cog ring, Not/Nutso so with the 3.0VM its wheel with magnetic strip. The CKT was a problem before/during AEM. No doubt in My mind VM knew that the tone ring was the problem and negated to share that info with anyone ( another reason...
Its probably will be added in the future, My guess is earlier built are failing at X rate and the Latter Years are NOT, Also Many 2018 and 19s are rebadged Trucks from 2017. Another thought is Maybe the Cam/Crank software was installed in Your 2017.
Yep, that's the correct method, Knowledge is everything when its couple with understanding.
Even in this thread maybe its best if the 3.0VM stays home on long trips until VM comes up with a dependable fix. Back in 2016 I took My 3.0 to the Cabin in West Yellowstone in Aug, We stopped at...
Biodiesel, I agree. I cannot accept or be a member of any organization, forum ,group that suppresses anyone's opinion.
Example, 100s of current Ecodiesel Have call Me on possible Ownership, I discourage Buying do to the risk of ownership, Some have followed it others have NOT. Some that have...
The truth... I forecasted the VM 3.0 failures Years in advance, Certain Mods at the site can Call it whatever, Make false claims, Mislead their fellow Man in covering up, that site (some) mods are most anti-factual in My 40 Year business Career. I see them as haters, Yep agree with the...
Glow plugs on the 3.0VM are generally corroded and unable to remove. This picture is someone who attempted to remove them and they broke off and the tips dropped and took out the engine.
