Replacing the engine can be done in a couple days..... getting the engine that was probably on back order was probably the issue.

    crank shaft timing sensor.

It is quite likely that the tone ring has failed which may be covered under a warranty depending on your trucks vin # . W58 or W68 I believe. Check around the forum for those recalls.

Why I will never buy an Ecodiesel or any FCA product ever again.

Most tunes can be uninstalled at will with a hand held flash device in a matter if minutes for those dealer trips and reinstalled when you get back home.

When you get it back consider a tune, it may save you on some future repairs.

Bummer that you didn't get a great eco diesel but I think everyone would be thrilled that you were made whole! Hope you find a great rig and let us know if you end up with an eco diesel!

Since Toyota sold you the deleted truck (illegally) and they are working with RAM the only solution will be to restore the truck to legal condition for you. Poor mpg 2016 eco diesel 3.0L

    2020+ Tuning Kits

I was one of the last batch of customers to get the original tune from GDE. I went back to purchase the GDE trans tune at a later date and they were not selling any tunes at that time. Since then GDE has developed the tune they currently offer.

    2020+ Tuning Kits

I have been running a GDE tune since 2019. It is an older version that is no longer available. I also have a transmission tune from SKT also bought in 2019. Both have been great since I installed them.

Many run the GDE epa compliant tune. The companies reputation is top notch and if emissions testing is a thing in your area it is a great option. Mr. Tuning @ Eco Owners Canada (EOC) is another option if you are looking for your "off road only" needs. :)
